After one or more modifications, the status of having data that has still not been permanently saved
is indicated by the “!” symbol in the top right and the display message “WARNING set Clear..
Store” which appears while browsing through the main menu with the use of the
(Up) or
(Down) buttons.
T
he Clear command may be used to abandon unsaved changes (prior to use of the Store command);
the same effect is achieved by switching the key to the OFF position or removing the auxiliary power
supply to the SIF5600 relay.
Test
It is possible to activate the operational tests with or without command of the associated output
relays.
By means of
(Up) or (Down) buttons it is possible to browse the main menu till the “Test”
message; to enter you must press the
(Enter) button and subsequently, it is possible to select the
test by means of the
(Up) or (Down) buttons.
The status of tests underway is indicated by the green ON LED flashing besides the message on the
display; to terminate the test, it is necessary to select the “Test off” message and press
(Enter).
In any case the test will be automatically terminated after a delay of 5 minutes.
Data/time setting (Time)
To effect a change, having identified the parameter intended for change (year, month,...) the modifi-
cation can be confirmed by using the
(Enter) button.
Likewise the Set menu the modification in progress status is highlighted by the symbol “E” flashing
in the upper right area of the display.
Subsequently, it is possible to alter the parameter by means of the
(Up) or (Down) buttons (the
“E”
symbol continues to flash to highlight the Editing status); upon reaching the desired value, it is
necessary to once more use the
(Enter) button.
Acceptance of the change is indicated by the disappearance of the flashing “E” to be replaced by
the symbol “!”
Differently from the Set menu the changes are stored and became active immediately without the
Store command.
Since there is no back-up battery, the clock/calendar function is reset each time the power is
switched off.
ModBus slave
Communication parameters
Inside the ModBus slave menu it is possible to read/modify the setting data of the serial communica-
tion ports (rate, stop bit, parity and address).
C
hanges must be confirmed by means the Store command.
Escape
In any operational state, the “Esc” (Escape) button allows abandoning the action currently under-
way and subsequently, moving up one menu level with each use.
