Conductors must be ferruled copper, 90°C rated, non-fine stranded:
ATS AC to load/grid: 1/0 – 4/0 AWG
ATS AC to inverter: 8 6 AWG
ATS AC to generator starter battery charger (TSS-200A-US-G only): 1210 AWG
ATS AC to generator (TSS-200A-US-G only): 4 – 1/0 AWG
EGC: 8 6 AWG, insulated or bare
Always calculate conductor AWG based on wire length and current load
.
Load Connections
To connect the ATS to the main (whole-home backup) or essential loads (partial-home backup)
panel:
1. Connect ground and neutral conductors to the ground and neutral bars and power
conductors to the
LOAD L1
and
L2
terminals. Torque to 22.5Nm.
2. Terminate conductors at a main or essential loads panel.
