System Fault Codes
The DC input voltage is exceeding
the maximum tolerable value.
1. Disconnect the DC switch
immediately.
2. Check the voltage of each PV string
1. Check if the panel enclosure is
grounded properly.
2. Check if the inverter is grounded
properly.
3. Check if the DC breaker is wet.
4. Check the impedance of PV + and
PV – between ground (>25KΩ or
The utility grid voltage is out of
permissible range.
1. Switch off the DC disconnect.
2. Check AC wiring especially the
neutral and ground wires.
3. Verify grid voltage is within
tolerances.

1. Check AC wiring connections.
2. Check the status of the AC breaker.
Neutral and PE voltages exceed
30V.
1. Check neutral and PE voltages.
2. Check AC wiring.
Utility grid frequency out of
permissible range.
1. Switch off the DC disconnect.
2. Check AC wiring especially the
neutral and ground wires.
3. Verify grid frequency is within
allowable tolerance (59.3 to 60.8
Hz).
The EI Inverter initial auto test
has failed.
2. Repeat auto test.
3. Check all connections and wiring.
4. Check DC, AC, and battery voltage
readings and if Grid selection in the
app matches the actual Grid reading.
5. Check the firmware version and
BMS not able to communicate
properly with the inverter.
1. Check RS485 cable connection.
2. Check if the battery is sleeping.
