onattachmentswithahydraulicmotorattached.
Important:Ifusedwithahydrauliccylinderor
noattachment,theOnpositioncausestheoil
owtogooverareliefvalvewhichcandamage
thehydraulicsystem.Usethispositiononly
momentarilyorwithamotorattached.
Important:Checkhydraulicoillevelafter
installationofanattachment.Checkthe
operationoftheattachmentbycyclingthe
attachmentseveraltimestopurgeairfrom
system,thenrecheckhydraulicoillevel.The
attachmentcylinderwillslightlyaffecttransaxle
oillevel.Operationofvehiclewithlowoillevel
candamagethepump,remotehydraulics,
powersteering,andthevehicletransaxle.
CAUTION
Hydraulicuidescapingunderpressurecan
havesufcientforcetopenetrateskinanddo
seriousdamage.Caremustbeusedwhen
connectingordisconnectinghydraulicquick
couplers.Stoptheengine,applytheparking
brake,lowertheattachment,andplacethe
remotehydraulicvalveintheoatdetent
positiontorelievehydraulicpressurebefore
connectingordisconnectingquickcouplers.
ConnectingtheQuickCouplers
Important:Cleandirtfromquickcouplers
beforeconnecting.Dirtycouplerscanintroduce
contaminationintothehydraulicsystem
1.Pullbackthelockingringonthecoupler.
2.Insertthehosenippleintothecoupleruntilitsnaps
intoposition.
Note:Whenattachingremoteequipmenttothequick
couplers,determinewhichsiderequirespressure,then
attachthathosetoquickcouplerBwhichwillhave
pressurewhenthecontrolleverispushedforwardor
lockedintheOnposition.
DisconnectingtheQuickCouplers
Note:Withboththevehicleandattachmentturned
off,movetheliftleverbackandforthtoremovethe
systempressureandeasethedisconnectionofthequick
couplers.
1.Pullbackthelockingringonthecoupler.
2.Pullthehosermlyfromthecoupler.
Important:Cleanandinstallthedustplugand
dustcoverstothequickcouplerendswhennot
inuse.
