Premaintenance
Procedures
Manyofthesubjectscoveredinthismaintenancesection
requireraisingandloweringthebed.Thefollowing
precautionsmustbetakenorseriousinjuryordeath
couldresult.
WARNING
Beforeservicingormakingadjustmentstothe
machine,stopengine,setparkingbrake,and
removekeyfromtheignitionswitch.Removeany
loadmaterialfromthebedorotherattachment
beforeworkingunderaraisedbed.Neverwork
underaraisedbedwithoutpositioningthesafety
supportonafullyextendedcylinderrod.
UsingtheBedSafetySupport
Important:Alwaysinstallorremovethebed
supportfromtheoutsideofthebed.
1.Raisethebeduntiltheliftcylindersarefully
extended.
2.Removethebedsupportfromthestoragebrackets
onbackoftheROPSpanel(
