•Usingthemachinetotowatrailer
•Frequentlyoperatingthemachineondustyroads
•Usingthemachineforconstructionwork
•Afterusingthemachineinmud,sand,water,orsimilardirtyconditionsforanextendedtime
Note:Haveyourbrakesinspectedandcleanedassoonaspossibleaftereachuse.Thiswillpreventanyabrasivematerial
fromcausingexcessivebrakewear.
PremaintenanceProcedures
Manyofthesubjectscoveredinthismaintenancesectionrequireraisingandloweringthebed.Thefollowingprecautionsmust
betakenorseriousinjuryordeathcouldresult.
Important:Beforeservicingormakingadjustmentstothemachine,stoptheengine,settheparkingbrake,and
removethekeyfromtheignitionswitch.Removeanyloadmaterialfromthebedorotherattachmentbeforeworking
underaraisedbed.Neverworkunderaraisedbedwithoutpositioningthesafetysupportonafullyextended
cylinderrod.
