•Neverjump-startwithavoltagesourcegreater
than15voltsDC.Thiswilldamagetheelectrical
system.
•Neverattempttojumpstartadischargedbattery
thatisfrozen.Itcouldruptureorexplodeduring
jumpstarting.
•Observeallbatterywarningswhilejumpstarting
yourmachine.
•Ensurethatthemachineisnottouchingthe
jumpstartmachine.
•Connectingcablestothewrongpostcould
resultinpersonalinjuryand/ordamagetothe
electricalsystem.

batterybase,andremovethebatterycoverfromthe
batterybase(Figure61).
