Servicing the Engine Oil
Service Interval : After the rst 8 hours —Change the
engine oil.
Before each use or daily —Check the engine-oil
level.
Every 100 hours —Change the engine oil.
Every 200 hours —Change the engine-oil lter .
Engine-Oil Specications
Note: Change the oil more frequently when the
operating conditions are extremely dusty or sandy .
Oil T ype: Detergent oil (API service SF , SG, SH, or
SJ)
Crankcase Capacity: 2.1 L (71  oz) with the lter
removed; 1.8 L (61  oz) without the lter removed
V iscosity: Refer to the table below .

Checking the Engine-Oil Level
1. Park the machine on a level surface, engage
the parking brake (if applicable), and lower the
grinder .
2. Shut of f the engine and remove the key .
