Thefuel-shutoffvalveislocatedbehindtheengine
andunderthefueltank(Figure11).
Usethefuel-shutoffvalvetoshutoffthefuelwhen
themachinewillnotbeusedforafewdays,when
transportingthemachinetoandfromthejobsite,or
whenthemachineisparkedinsideabuilding.
•Toopenforfuel-shutoffvalve,rotatethehandle
ofthefuel-shutoffvalveuntilitisalignedwiththe
fuelline.
•Toclosethefuel-shutoffvalve,rotatethehandle
90°tothefuelline.

WARNING
Yourhandsmaybecomeentangledinthe
rotatingdrivecomponentsbelowtheengine
deck,whichcouldresultinseriousinjuryor
death.
Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andallow
allmovingpartstostopbeforeaccessingthe
drive-wheelreleasevalves.
WARNING
Theengineandhydrauliccomponentscan
becomeveryhot.Touchingahotengine
orhydrauliccomponentscancausesevere
burns.
Allowtheengineandhydrauliccomponents
tocoolcompletelybeforeaccessingthe
drive-wheelreleasevalves.
Locatedontheleftandrightsidesunderneaththe
frontofthemachine.
Duringnormaloperatingconditions,thewasheron
theleverispositionedoutsidetheslots.Ifyouneed
topushthemachinebyhand,youmustpositionthe
leverforthedrivewheelreleasevalvetothevalve
releasedposition(Figure12).

Toreleasethedrivewheels,movethelevertothe
largeropeningoftheslot,pushitinuntilthewasher
isinsidetheframe,thenmovetheleverbacktothe
narrowportionoftheslot.Repeatthisoneachside
ofthemachine.
Disengagetheparkingbrake.Themachineisnow
abletobepushedbyhand.
Donottowmachine.
Toresetthedrivesystembacktotheoperating
position:
Movethelevertothelargeropeningoftheslot,pull
outwarduntilthewasherisoutsidetheframe,then
movetheleverbacktothenarrowportionoftheslot.
Repeatthisoneachsideofthemachine.
