Removedebrisfromtheoilcoolerandradiatordaily.Clean
themmorefrequentlyindirtyconditions.
Thismachineisequippedwithahydraulicallydrivenfandrive
systemthatautomatically(ormanually)reversestoreduce
radiatorandscreendebrisbuild-up.Whilethisfeaturecan
helpreducethetimerequiredtocleanradiatorsandcoolers,
itdoesnoteliminatetheneedforroutinecleaning.Periodic
cleaningandinspectionoftheradiatorisstillrequired.
1.Turntheengineoffandraisethehood.Cleanthe
engineareathoroughlyofalldebris.
2.Removetheknobs(Figure67)securingtheoilcooler
totheframe.

3.Pivottheoilcoolerrearward.Cleanbothsidesofthe
oilcoolerandradiatorarea(Figure68)thoroughlywith
compressedair.Startfromthefrontandblowthe
debrisouttowardstheback.Thencleanfromtheback
sideandblowtowardsthefront.Repeatprocedure
severaltimesuntilallchaffanddebrisisremoved
Important:Cleaningtheradiatororoilcooler
withwatercanpromoteprematurecorrosionand
damagetocomponents.
