Changetheoilinitiallyafterrst200hoursofoperation.
Thereafterchangetheoilevery800hours,oryearly,whichever
occursrst.UseahighqualitySAE85W-140gearlube.
1.Jackupthefrontofthemachineandsupportwith
jackstands.
2.Removethefrontwheels.
3.Rotatethewheelsothatthecheck/drainplug
(Figure63)isatthelowestposition.

4.Placeadrainpanunderthehub,removetheplug,and
allowtheoiltodrain.
5.Whenalloftheoilhasdrained,positionthewheelso
thattheplugholeisatthe3or9o'clockposition.
6.Placeadrainpanunderthebrakehousingontheother
sideofthewheel(Figure64).
7.Removetheplugfromthebottomofthehousingand
allowtheoiltodrain.
8.Whenalloftheoilhasdrained,installthepluginthe
housing.
9.Addapproximately16oz(0.5l)ofhighqualitySAE
85W-140gearlubetotheplanetaryllhole(atthe3or
9o'clockposition)untilthelevelisuptothebottomof
thebrakehousingcheckhole.Installtheplug.
10.Repeattheprocedureontheoppositegearassembly.
