7.Allowtheenginetowarmupandthenmovethe
throttlecontroltotheFastposition.
StoppingtheEngine
1.Movethemotion-controlleverstoneutralandmove
therightsidemotion-controlleverintotheneutral-lock
position.
2.MovethethrottlelevertoSlow(Figure9).
3.Iftheenginehasbeenworkinghardorishot,letthe
engineidlefor30to60secondsbeforeturningthe
engineoff.
4.Tostoptheengine,turntheignitionkeytooff.
Important:Ensurethatthefuel-shutoffvalveis
closedbeforetransportingorstoringthemachine,
asfuelleakagemayoccur.Beforestoringthe
machine,pullwireoffsparkplug(s)toprevent
possibilityofaccidentalstarting.
OperatingtheMower-Blade
Control(PTO)
Theblade-controlswitch(PTO)isusedinconjunctionwith
therightsidemotion-controllevertoengageanddisengage
themowerblades.
EngagingtheMowerBlades(PTO)
1.Toengagethemowerblades,movetherightside
motion-controllevertothecenter,unlockedposition
(Figure10).
2.Pulltheblade-controlswitch(PTO)upandreleaseit
whileholdingdowntherightsidemotion-controllever
inthecenter,unlockedposition.
