assembly.
Note:Makesureitisbetweenthearmatureandthe
rotorfrictionsurfaces.
2.Tightenthelocknutsuntilthereisslightbindingon
thefeelergaugebutitcanbemovedeasilywithinthe
airgap(Figure47).
3.Repeatthisfortheremainingslots.
4.Checkeachslotagainandmakeslightadjustmentsuntil
thefeelergaugebetweentherotorandarmaturewith
veryslightcontactbetweenthem.

Beforeeachuse,removeanybuildupofgrass,dirt,orother
debrisfromthecylinderandcylinderheadcoolingns,
air-intakescreenontheywheelend,andcarburetor-governor
leversandlinkage.Thiswillhelpinsureadequatecooling
andcorrectenginespeedandwillreducethepossibilityof
overheatingandmechanicaldamagetotheengine.
