0°C(32°F).
1.Removethebatteryfromthechassis;refertoRemoving
theBattery(page31).
2.Checktheelectrolytelevel;refertoCheckingthe
Battery-ElectrolyteLevel(page32).
3.Makesurethatthellercapsareinstalledinbattery.
4.Chargethebatteryfor1hourat25to30ampsor6
hoursat4to6amps.
5.Whenthebatteryisfullycharged,unplugthecharger
fromtheelectricaloutlet,thendisconnectthecharger
leadsfromthebatteryposts(Figure40).
6.Installthebatteryontothemachineandconnectthe
batterycables.
Note:Donotrunthemachinewiththebattery
disconnected,electricaldamagemayoccur.
