RemovingtheFoamandPaper
Elements
1.DisengagethePTOandsettheparkingbrake.
2.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwaitforallmoving
partstostopbeforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
3.Cleanaroundtheaircleanertopreventdirtfrom
gettingintotheengineandcausingdamage(Figure28).
4.Unscrewthecoverknobsandremovetheair-cleaner
cover(Figure28).
5.Unscrewthehoseclampandremovetheair-cleaner
assembly(Figure28).
6.Carefullypullthefoamelementoffthepaperelement
(Figure28).

Important:Topreventenginedamage,alwaysoperate
theenginewiththecompletefoamandpaperaircleaner
assemblyinstalled.
1.Carefullyslidethefoamelementontothepaper
air-cleanerelement(Figure28).
2.Placetheair-cleanerassemblyontotheair-cleanerbase,
andsecureitwiththe2wingnuts(Figure28).
3.Placetheair-cleanercoverintopositionandtighten
thecoverknob(Figure28).
ServicingtheEngineOil
ServiceInterval:Beforeeachuseordaily—Checkthe
engine-oillevel.
Aftertherst8hours—Changetheengineoil.
Every100hours—Changetheengineoil.
Every200hours—Changetheoillter.
Note:Changetheoilmorefrequentlywhentheoperating
conditionsareextremelydustyorsandy.
