1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,disengagethePTO.
2.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwaitforallmoving
partstostopbeforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
3.Releasethebrake.Thebrakebarsshouldliftoffthe
tiresandthehandlevershouldtravelforwardtothe
endoftheslotinthecontrolpanel.Adjustthebrake
ifneeded.
4.Engagethebrakeleveruntilthebrakebarsrstcontact
thetire(Figure65).
5.Measurethegapfromthefrontofthehandlevertothe
endoftheslotinthecontrolpanelwhenthebrakebar
contactsthetire.Thismeasurementneedstobe3/4
inch(19mm).Adjustthebrakeifneeded(Figure65).
