14. Connect the battery cable to the negative battery
terminal (Fig. 414).

15. Lower the seat.
16. Adjust the throttle and choke cables. Refer to:
“Throttle & Choke Cable Adjustment” on page 4-10.

12. Install the Electric PTO clutch. Refer to Electric PTO
Clutch Installation on page 3-30.
13. Connect the battery cable to the positive battery
terminal (Fig. 413).
11. Apply anti-seize compound to the crankshaft. Slide
the engine pulley onto crankshaft and install the
transmission drive belt around engine pulley (Fig.
412).
