3. Route the belt up toward the top of the transmission
(Fig. 452).
5. Tilt the variable speed pulley forward and route the
belt around it into the lower pulley groove (Fig. 454).

6. Install 4 bolts securing the variable speed pulley
assembly to the transmission (Fig. 455).
4. Route the belt so that it is positioned around the shift
rod (Fig. 453).
