8. Install a bolt, nut and a self tapping screw to secure
the front of the transmission to the transmission
bracket (Fig. 490).
10. Hook the brake control spring to the rear end of the
brake control rod (Fig. 492).

11. Insert the front end of the brake control rod into the
brake linkage (Fig. 493).
9. Insert the brake control rod through the hole in the
transmission bracket (Fig. 491).
