3. Install a new outer puck onto the brake assembly
(Fig. 477).
5. Position the brake assembly to the transmission and
install 2 hex head screws to secure it (Fig. 479).

4. Hook the spring from the brake assembly to the
brake rod (Fig. 478).

2. Install the brake disc onto the brake shaft (Fig. 476).
Note: A new brake disc should be used if the origi-
nal is deeply grooved, worn or overheated.
