46” Mower Deck - LH Idler Assembly
Removal
4. Install the shoulder bolt and nut securing the brake
assembly bracket to the right hand idler bracket (Fig.
621).
1. Remove the mower Deck from the tractor. Refer to
“46” Mower Deck Removal” on page 7-69.
2. Remove the 3 self-tapping screws securing the left
mower deck belt cover to the mower deck (Fig. 623).

3. Remove the mower deck belt cover from the mower
deck (Fig. 624).
6. Install the mower deck to the tractor. Refer to “46”
Mower Deck Installation” on page 7-72.
5. Install the extension spring from the brake pin to the
right hand belt cover (Fig. 622).
Note: The extension spring goes into the top hole of
the belt guard.
