•Watchforpluggedsprayernozzles.
•Movetheboomsprayer-controlvalvestotheOFF
positiontostopthesprayowbeforestoppingthe
motionofthemachine.Oncestopped,leavethe
motion-controlleverinNEUTRALandleavethe
sprayer-pumpswitchintheONposition.
•Youobtainbetterresultsifthemachineismoving
whenspraycontrolsareturnedON.
•Ensureadequatepumppressureforproperspray
distributionbypushthetank-agitationlevertothe
OFFposition.
•Watchforchangesintheapplicationrate.
Changesintheapplicationrateindicatethatyour
groundspeedhaschangedbeyondtheoperating
rangeofthenozzlesorthereisaproblemwiththe
sprayersystem.
Note:Whenthetankisnearlyempty,thetank
agitationmaycausefoamingofthechemicalsolution
inthetank.Inthiscase,throttlevalvetotheOFF
position.Alternatively,ifananti-foamingagent
compatiblewiththeexistingchemical—addthe
anti-foamingagentaccordingtothemanufacturer’s
instructions.
SprayingwiththeSprayWand
WARNING
Thespraywandtrapsliquidsunder
highpressure,evenwhenengineisoff.
High-pressurespraydischargecouldcause
seriousinjuryordeath.
•Keepclearofthenozzleanddonotdirect
thesprayorstreamfromthewandat
people,pets,ornon-workareaproperty.
•Donotdirectthesprayatornear
electrical-powercomponentsorsource.
•Donotrepairthespraywand,hoses,seals,
nozzle,orotherwandcomponents;always
replacethem.
•Donotattachthehosesorother
componentstothenozzleattheendofthe
spraywand.
•Donotattempttodisconnectthespray
wandfromthemachinewhilethesprayer
systemispressurized.
•Donotusethespraywandiftriggerlockis
damagedormissing.
•Rotatethespray-wandlocktotheOFF
positionwhenjobiscomplete.
