Therefore:
- use the face plate and its clamping method recommended in this Manual.
- do not exceed max. spindle speed for the face plate, mentioned in the rating plate.
- use the face plate cover.
Operating risks connected with use of subcontracts.
As a lathe user you must be full aware of all operating risks which are connected with subcontracts and do not cover the
subject of the manufacturer production of the SUA 125 NUMERIC centre lathe. It is allowed to add them in operation but
the requirements for these subcontracts should be started from further mentioned analysis.
a) Cutting lubricants and oils.
Cutting lubricants and oils used in the operation of the SUA 125 NUMERIC lathe should be selected in accordance with this
Manual if possible, see part “Cutting lubricant“.
With regards to risks connected with using cutting lubricants and oils, it is recommended to follow the instructions
mentioned below:
1. Avoid surplus contacting with cutting lubricants and oils. Your skin may be endangered in consequence of its greater
sensibility in acting of cutting lubricant for a long time.
2. Wear protective clothing.
3. Use a protective shield and cover.
4. Do not wear oil foul or dirty clothing.
5. All parts of your body which have been contacted with oils or cutting lubricants should be washed up carefully after
work.
6. Avoid mixing various kinds of oils.
7. Avoid mixing cutting lubricant and oils.
8. Oil should be changed regularly (in accordance with Manual).
9. The supplier requirements of cutting lubricant and oils should be respected.
10. Follow the instructions of cutting lubricant and oils mentioned in this Manual.
b) Workpiece chucks
If the workpiece chucks are in operation, the following risk factors according to EN 292 can be occurred:
compress risk (crushing down)
catch risk
draw or drip risk
risk caused by shooting exchange or moving parts up.
Therefore:
- chucks and method of their clamping should be used in accordance with recommendation in this Manual.
- the supplier requirements, instructions and information of workpiece chucks should be respected as
