- tool holder
All ways are fitted with the adjustable gibs for taking up the clearance.
CAUTION (operator): The carriages are equipped with wipers which preserve the guiding ways of carriage and bed against
impurities. Their function must be checked by the operator of the lathe.
Lubrication of carriage: The carriage is equipped with separate central lubrication. Details are mentioned in Manual
instructions for lubrication.
Description of carriage parts.
The saddle for longitudinal carriage togesher with longitudinal carriage enable the travelling motion of tool in longitudinal
direction i.e. in direstion of axis Z.
The cross slide performs the travellng motion of tool in cross direction i.e. in direstion of axis X.
Caution:
The longitudinal and cross direction, motion (feed) to be understood in this manual in regard to the lathe axis i.e. its spindle
axis.
Tool holder is used for tool fastening (turning tool fastening).
The carriage is delivered with tool holder for one tool of 60x60 size.
Four way rotary tool post for the maximum lathe tool section 50x50 - optional accessories.
