1. Remove the chair or the stretcher and lean the lift to the
side while changing the drive belt. Dismount the bottom
cover.
2. Make sure you know the way the old drive belt were
placed in the lift, before you follow the instructions below.
3. Fasten the new drive belt to the old one. This makes it
easier when pulling the new drive belt through the
column. Follow the instructions below and the drawings
on the following pages.
4. The drive belt shall not be twisted more than 90 degrees
inside the column.
5. Release the belt slacken mechanism by compressing it.
6. See drawing how to mount the drive belt to the motor
shaft.
7. Mount the drive belt to the autostop mechanism.
First, loop the drive belt into the lift arm and pull,
see no. 2.
Mount the drive belt to the pin with the springs and rollers
no 1.
Mount the rollers in the correct way, no. 1 on drawing
422940.
8. When mounting the autostop mechanism to the lift arm,
pull the drive belt loop no. 2 at the same time as you pull
and lower the mechanism to the lift arm. This to release
the force from the springs and rollers which makes it
easier too mount the mechanism to the lift arm.
9. When the autostop mechanism is in place, clamp the free
drive belt loop no. 3 to lift arm F.
10. Ensure that the drive belt loop is correct before mounting
the screw no. 4.
11. Loosen clamp no. 3. Pull the drive belt no.2 and control
that the autostop mechanism is functioning.
12. Pull the drive belt no.5 by hand or by pressing the “up”
pad.
