Grease the mechanism some.
Push a 12.5 mm (1/2”) square bar into the stainless steel
pipe to simulate a tensioned drivebelt, pic A.
The washer in the mechanism shall activate the limit switch
pic B, without hurting the switch house or its bracket.
If an empty chair does not lower properly when pressing the
down pad, carefully bend the metal wing on the limit switch
pic C as the switch shall still be activated in pic D to lower the
light weight chair. If necessary, adjust the washer by removing
the bar and loosening the 10 mm nuts pic E. The washer shall
leave the limit switch completely when the drivebelt slacken
pic F. The lift/trolley shall stand up for the nal testing.
