The auto stop mechanism is of great importance and will lock the chair/stretcher to
the column if the drivebelt brakes.
When the chair/stretcher hits an obstacle when lowering, the micro switch feels the
lack of tension in the drivebelt and stops the motor from further unwinding. At the
same time the auto stop mechanism locks the chair/stretcher to the stainless steel
column.
To release the auto stop, press the up pad and the chair/stretcher goes upwards.
Test the autostop function. Position the chair/stretcher at a middle high on the
column. Lift the chair/stretcher about 30 cm with both your hands and let it go.
The autostop shall stop and lock the falling chair/stretcher within 10-20 cm.
