Release the screws securing the stepper motor to
the valve body.

Inspection/test
1.
The valve is checked for correct operation using
the Triumph service diagnostic tool. No other
tests are possible.
2.
Check the valve body for cracks, damage and
deterioration. Replace as necessary.
Assembly
1. Assemble the stepper motor to the valve body
and secure using the original fixings.
2.
Position the valve bracket to the throttle body and
tighten the fixing to 12 Nm.

3. Reconnect the hoses as noted during the removal
process.
4. Refit the fuel tank as described elsewhere in this
section.
5.
Reconnect the battery, positive (red) lead first.
6. Refit the seat.
