Replacing the battery

1 Remove the case back. See page 24.
2 Disconnect and remove the old battery.
3 Plug in the new battery and place into its cradle. The battery sits on top of the
power/communication FPC and the two keypad FPCs..
Tip: Write theinstallation date on the battery with a permanent marker.
4 Refit the case back. See page 24.
5 Check that the indicator operates and place it on charge for 4 hours. The indicator must be off
during charging to ensure that the battery is fully charged.

The procedure for replacing the load bar connectors and the power/communication connector is the
same. Both load bar connectors are identical.
The screws are longer than the PCA screws so do not get them mixed up.
