General Commands
With general commands you can reset the transmitter.
Reset (aXZ)
This command performs software reset on the device.
Command format in ASCII and NMEA 0183: aXZ<cr><lf>
Command format in SDI-12: aXZ!
The response depends on the communication protocol as shown in the
examples.
Example (ASCII):
0XZ<cr><lf>
0TX,Start-up<cr><lf>
Example (SDI-12):
0XZ!0<cr><lf> (=device address)
NOTE
If error messaging is disabled, the general commands given in ASCII
and NMEA formats do not work. See Supervisor Message on page
144.

a = Device address
XZ = Reset command
<cr><lf> = Command terminator in ASCII and NMEA 0183
! = Command terminator in SDI-12
