Term Definition
Totals report A financial report listing the totals for all transactions carried out
during a particular period, specified according to transaction
processor, type of payment card and transaction type.
Transaction processor The party to whom transaction data are sent in accordance with
the Common Terminal Acquirer Protocol (C-TAP). The transaction
processor then forwards the transaction data to the correct
acquirer for further processing.
Static IP address An assigned IP address that is not subject to change over time.
