3.1 Overview of payment terminal and PINpad
The Vx570 payment terminal is the cashier unit and is operated by you (the cashier).
Components of Vx570 payment terminal
1 Printer cover Cover of thermal printer.
2 Printer The thermal printer prints receipts and reports.
3 Release button Press this button to release the printer cover.
4 Screen The screen displays messages when actions are performed on the
payment terminal.
5 Chip card reader The chip card reader is not operational. The card holder must insert the
6 Magnetic card
reader
The magnetic card reader is not operational. The card holder must swipe
the payment card through the VX 820 PINpad.
