ACCESSING CONTACTS
There are several ways to access a contact, giving
you flexibility to use your Vertu phone in the way
that suits you best.
DELETING CONTACTS
To delete a contact:
> From the stand-by display, press a SCROLL
key.
> If the contact name is not visible, press the first
letter of the contact name. The first name
starting with that letter is highlighted. Scroll to
the desired name and press
Details.
> Press Options.
> Scroll to Delete and press Select.
> Press OK to delete all details.
A message confirms which contact you have
deleted.
CONTACT NUMBER AND TEXT TYPES
(Phone memory only)
The first number added to a contact is
automatically set as the default number. When you
select a contact to call or send a message to, this
default number is always used.
You can store up to five numbers for each contact
from the following five types:
> General
> Mobile
> Home
> Office
> Fax.
You can also store up to five text items from the
following four types:
> E-mail address
> Web address
> Postal address
> Note.
ADDING INFORMATION TO A CONTACT
(Phone memory only)
You can add phone numbers or text items to a
contact.
To add a number to a contact:
> From the stand-by display, press a SCROLL
key.
> If the contact name is not visible, press the first
letter of the contact name. The first name
starting with that letter is highlighted. Scroll to
the desired name and press
Details.
> With the contact number highlighted, press
Options.
> Scroll to Add number and press Select.
> Scroll to the type of number you want to add
and press
Select.
> Key in the phone number and press OK.
This chapter uses the first method of
accessing a contact but you can use any of
the following methods.

The default number is indicated by a line
under the number type icon.
A contact can have duplicate number and text
types, for example two mobile numbers or two
e-mail addresses.
