2.1 Adaptation to the tractor

Ensure the mower is placed on flat ground. Attach the
mower in the 3-pt front linkage of the tractor. The
mower can be hitched onto tractors with cat. II linkage
only. Choose a tractor suitable of transporting and
working with this machine!

Attacht the mower onto the 3-pt front linkage. The
mower can be hitched onto an ‘Accord’ front quick
hitch only!
Attention:
Always ensure a correct attachment of the mower (al-
so refer to instructions for use of the ‘Accord’ hitch).
Always firmly tighten the lock for the upper hitch
point; if necessary adjust the lock cam (39)! Adjust
the lock cam as follows:
a) Loosen lock nuts (38) and (40).
b) Adust the lock cam (39) using adjusting bolt (41).
c) Retighten lock nuts (38) and (40).

Connect pto drive shaft. If necessary shorten the pto
drive shaft between tractor and machine to prevent
damage when it is in its shortest position. Ensure it is
shortened correctly and to the exact length (see fig. 1
and the instructions at the shaft).
Attention:
Prior to first use on a (new or different) tractor check
both direction and speed of pto correspond with the
input setting of the mower! Adaptation of the direc-
tion of rotation is possible by modification of the gear
box. Pay special attention to the direction of rotation
since the freewheel clutch of the pto drive shaft may
need adaptation as well: exchange the clutch hous-
ing!

Plug the hoses into receptacle of a single acting valve
with float position.
