5.16.4.1 Special cases and examples
If the DCJ is in TELEMETRY mode, pressing key or key will automatically switch it into VIDEO
mode; press key
to return to TELEMETRY mode.
Button
can also be used as a short-cut selector for the DVR’s; if a three-digit camera number is entered,
the first digit (hundreds) will be interpreted as the video unit number (only from 1 to 9), and the next two digits
(tens and units) will be interpreted as the input video number (between 1 and 16). See Example 1.
Example 1:
= Video unit No. 2, Camera No. 07.
= Video unit No. 9, Camera No. 16.
Example 2: if DVR No. 3 is used, recalling dome No. 1 will automatically associate it with telemetry receiver No.
33. If, on the other hand, the dome has been assigned a different network address from 33, to be able to control
it while the signal from channel 1 is on display, it is necessary make the setting for the receiver No. the same as
the dome network ad
dress.
WARNING:
if the camera number is changed, memory of this forced operation will be lost, and the DVR will
reset the receiver number using the EL.MO. convention.
