Assignment of IP Addresses
Each PIB, ATA and fibre switch must be configured with a unique static IP address.
Generally, on a standalone network, it is convenient to use private addresses in the
10.0.0.0 - 10.255.255.255 address range.
The suggested addressing scheme (where xx is the SID of the QE20) is:
10.0.0.xx for the Moxa.
10.0.1.xx for the first PIB.
10.0.2.xx for the second PIB.
10.0.3.xx for the third PIB.
etc
10.0.8.xx for the first ATA at that location.
10.0.9.xx for the second ATA at that location, etc.
To make network configuration and fault finding easier, the following table should be
copied and filled in with the IP addresses for the various SIDs and devices on the
network.
