Re-Configuration
8.1.1 Configuring a Replacement VIF
The VIF does not require any configuration, apart from setting its address on the DIP
switches and the two links the same as on the module being replaced.
Don’t use an old VIF in QE20, as the firmware version may not be compatible. At
least firmware V1.06 is needed.
8.1.2 Configuring a Replacement ATA
QE20 is designed to use the ATA 192. Do not replace the ATA 192 with an earlier or
other manufacturer’s model. The firmware in the ATA 192 must be at least version
11-2-3.
The replacement ATA must be configured as documented in each site’s
documentation pack.
Refer to Section 3.8 for configuring the ATA and the ATA Administration Guide for
further information on the settings.
