Press the front button again. The LED
turns yellow.

When the LED turns red (after about 15
seconds), insert a MASTER smart card to
enable the procedure.
If the smart card is not inserted within
15 seconds, the LED turns off and the
device exits the procedure.

If the smart card is not recognised, the
LED will blink red.
Remove the incorrect smart card and
insert the correct one.
9.3
Activating the IrDA port (reader in
“with configurator” operating
mode)
This procedure activates the communication link between
the reader and the handheld.
Note: The first activation of the IrDA port should be
performed with the reader in the “without configurator”
mode, following the procedure described in chapter
8.1. “Activating the IrDA port (reader in “without con-
figurator” mode) on pg. 54.

The LED blinks in the sequence red-off-
green.
