If the button is not pressed within 15 sec-

onds, the LED turns red and the system

switches to the “Initialise reader and pro-

gram SLAVE smart cards” procedure.

To exit the procedure, place dip-switch 1

in the OFF position.

Repeat the procedure from step 6.5.1.

6.5 Synchronise readers with SLAVE

smart cards

This procedure allows several readers to operate using the same

SLAVE smart card, the same address and the same SLAVE

code.

Before synchronising it is necessary to:

• initialise the reader being synchronised with a MASTER

code (procedure 6.1)

• synchronise the reader with the MASTER code (procedure

6.4).

6.5.1

Place dip-switch 1 on the reader being

synchronised in the ON position.

The LED lights up yellow.
