Changing the reader and smart
card codes
This procedure assigns a new MASTER code to the mem-
ory of the reader/programmer and copies it to the desired
MASTER smart cards.
Each time the “Change reader and MASTER smart card
codes” procedure is invoked, a different code will be
generated.
4.2.1
Place dip-switch 2 in the ON position.
The LED lights up yellow.

When the LED turns off, the MASTER
smart card has been recognised.

If the LED blinks red it means the
MASTER smart card was not recognised.
Remove the incorrect smart card and
insert the correct one.

Wait for the LED to turn red (after about
15 seconds), then insert the MASTER
smart card.
