WARRANTY AFTER-SALES SERVICE
A. General warranty conditions
Refer to the general terms and conditions of sale.
The system must be installed by a qualified professional technician using best practices and
complying with current standards and the stipulations in our instruction manuals. The system
must be used normally and serviced regularly by a specialist.
B. Warranty period
The VMI
®
CUBE VISION’R system and its control unit are covered by a 5-year warranty, valid
from the date of commissioning. This date must be proved in the form of the warranty document
issued by a professional installer. The professional installer must send VMI-Ventilairsec the
warranty card mentioning the date of sale or installation, the end customer’s full address and
the serial number, within forty-eight (48) hours of installation of the VMI
®
CUBE VISION’R
system.
In the event of failure to comply with this obligation, the warranty shall automatically take effect
on the date of invoicing of the VMI
®
CUBE VISION’R unit by the installer or the distributor, for a
period of 5 years and 6 months.
Peripheral devices, such as humidity or air quality sensors, are covered by a 2-year warranty.
The warranty covering products manufactured by VMIVentilairsec shall only include parts and
labour costs incurred in our workshop.
C. Exclusions and termination of the warranty
The warranty provided by VMIVentilairsec shall not cover any defects or damage affecting the
VMI
®
products delivered caused by abnormal storage, installation, maintenance, preservation
and/or operating conditions.
Only products installed by a professional installer shall be covered by the warranty.
Under the warranty, VMIVentilairsec shall only be liable to replace defective parts at no extra
cost, and the customer shall not have any right to claim damages under any grounds. The
customer shall bear the transport costs incurred in returning defective parts.
Our warranty shall automatically cease to apply should a customer fail to notify VMI
Ventilairsec of an alleged defect within two (2) full months of detecting such a defect. The
customer is responsible for proving on which date the defect was detected.
