Crankshaft Seal, Change (rear)
Flywheel removed
1 Unbolt the inner timing gear plate (1
).
2 Remove the rear crankshaft seal (1).
Check that the area for the crankshaft seal on the
engine block, the crankshaft and the inner fly-
wheel housing are cleaned.
Lubricate the new crankshaft seal lip with engine
oil and put the seal in place.
Apply sealant part no. 840879 all round the crank-
shaft seal (2) and the camshaft cover (3).
Fix the inner flywheel plate.
