Seawater Pump, Change
Closed sea cock
1 Undo the hose connections (1
) to the raw water
pump.
Undo the four bolts (2) that retain the raw water
pump.
2 Remove the raw water pump and the O-ring.
Check the mating surfaces.
NOTICE! Check the raw water pump gear wheel.
If the gear wheel is damaged, the idler gear must
be inspected as well.
3 Install a new raw water pump and O-ring.
Install the bolts and connect the hoses.
Open the sea cock and run the engine. Check the
sealing.
