Alternator
Always observe the following instructions:
• Only test run the engine with the battery connected
• When connecting the battery, ensure that the poles (+/–) are not inverted
• Always disconnect the battery before performing welding work or connecting a quick
battery charger
• Replace defective charge indicator lights immediately
– see chapter Indicator lights and warning lights (overview) on page 3-10
