This appendix describes the instrument’s external connections.
D.1 External wiring and vacuum connections
When making connections to the QDa detector’s rear panel, refer to the figure on page 80.
Warning: To avoid injury, always perform a risk assessment when manually handling the
QDa Detector. Waters recommend two people lift the instrument.
Prohibited: To avoid equipment damage caused by lifting, do not use the source drain
manifold to lift the instrument.
Notice: If you must remove the instrument from service, contact Waters Technical Service
for recommended cleaning, flushing, and packaging procedures (see “Contacting Waters”).
