4.2.1. Screw connector
The SMP3 uses a screw connector.

4.2.2. How to connect the field probe
Connect the field probe by inserting the male connector into the female
connector with the tab aligned. Once fully inserted, screw the connector until
it is snug, without forcing it.

4.2.3. How to disconnect the field probe
You do not need to switch the device off before disconnecting the probe.
First unscrew the probe connector, then pull the connector to remove it.
 Important: pull the connector. Do not try to twist or turn the probe tube.
