2. INTRODUCTION
The SMP3 is an instrument for measuring electromagnetic fields. Its
frequency range is determined by the field probe used. A range of compatible
probes is available, from DC (0 Hz) to 60 GHz.
It combines three instruments in one: static field measurements, broadband
measurements and selective measurements (FFT), including % direct EMF
exposure assessments to limit lines by using the Weighted Peak Method (WPM).
We have developed the SMP3 to meet the needs for personal safety
assessment in connection with exposure to electromagnetic fields. Its
versatility makes it a perfect measurement tool for many different sectors and
industries such as Railway, Power, Manufacturing, Chemical, Medical,
Defence, RFID and EAS, Telecommunications, etc.
Those measurements can be made quickly and easily anywhere because the
SMP3 is portable and simple to handle and use.
