Maintenance Between Cuts
Perform the following maintenance actions after every long cut. We provide the maintenance steps
in the checklist in the following 2 pages. WAZER encourages you to post one copy of the checklist
near the location of your WAZER Pro and ensure it is followed with every cut!
It is essential to perform these tasks routinely; Performing them less often can lead to decreased
performance or more serious maintenance issues.
1.
Clean Magnetic Drain Filters
Magnetic Drain Filters trap iron particles and block them from Low Pressure Pumps. To keep
the filters in good shape, clean the filter mesh and magnets regularly.
We encourage you at least check the condition of the drain filters and magnets
after every cut.
2.
Collect Used Abrasive and Tank Cleaning
The Low Pressure System is able to collect all of the
abrasive used during cutting and deposit it into the two
abrasive buckets. If both buckets can be filled within 90
minutes of cutting, it indicates the Low Pressure system is
performing as expected. If water input pressure is low (< 40
Psi), Tank Cleaning cycle needs to be conducted once every
week, to keep the Low Pressure system in good condition.
Contact WAZER support if collection efficiency drops or
used abrasive starts to accumulate in the tank.
3.
Leveling the Cut Bed
Use the height tool to check the levelness of Cut Bed. In some occasion, worn Cut Bed may
warp or deform after extended use.
Make sure the Cut Bed is level across the cut piece before and after every cut help to ensure
the cut quality.
4.
General water seal inspection
Check if all bellow, gasket and o-rings are seated properly. If you see any water-proof
mechanisms not seated as they should be, correct them before next cut.
5.
Abrasive Accumulation
Rinse or Brush away loose abrasive from door window, bellow and side of tank.
Maintaining a clear view to cut area is vital in safe operation.
Remove used abrasive accumulated in the buckets.
Make sure that your abrasive buckets are always properly seated.
6.
Short, Medium, and Long Term Maintenance To ensure safe
and reliable operation, you MUST familiarize yourself with and perform the procedures
in Maintenance > Preventative Maintenance in our online menu. Further maintenance
schedules (short, medium, and long term) are explained.
