CAUTION Do not disconnect or power off the device during
the license installation.
7. Once you see the Add new features screen confirming the license installation, click
Close.
8. For the license upgrade to take effect, press and hold the power button for about 8
seconds to reboot the device.
(Optional) Upgrade your existing CP 150 device to DICOM
through the Welch Allyn Service Tool administration menu
1. Download the Service Tool Partner Connect and install on your PC.
2. Follow the instructions to set up a user name and password.
3. Plug your CP 150 device into a USB port on your PC running the Service Tool and
turn on the device.
4. Activate the license through the Administration menu. If the Welch Allyn Service
Tool is not still open, go to the Windows Start menu, and then select All Programs
> Welch Allyn > Welch Allyn Service Tool.
5. Log in to the Welch Allyn Service Tool.
6. Click on Administration > Install license.
7. Use the radio button to select Medical device license.
8. Enter the code you received for additional DICOM features for your device into the
authorization code field.
9. To choose the CP150 device, highlight the CP150 in the Device list.
10. Click Select.
