Pen Basics
Input Screen
When you turn the Pen on, the Input Screen
appears. You can start scanning in the word or
words you want to read.
Input Screen
If you scanned one word only, the word you
scanned appears in large type. If you scanned
more than one word (e.g., a line):
 If the Line Display First option (in the
Options menu) is on (i.e., checked) then
the words you scanned will appear in the
top area of the Word Selection Screen.
Note: the default setting for this option is
ON.
 If the Line Display First option (in the
Options menu) is off (i.e., not checked)
then the first word scanned will appear in
the Large-Type Screen. Pressing
will
bring you to the Word Selection Screen,
while all the words you scanned will
appear in the top area.
